"GNIS International Cooperation Forum on New‑Quality Productivity – Sino‑German Innovation Forum for High‑End Industrial Machinery, New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles" successfully concluded

On the afternoon of 5 December 2025, the GNIS International Cooperation Forum on New‑Quality Productivity – Sino‑German Innovation Forum for High‑End Industrial Machinery, New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles successfully concluded at the Holiday Inn Beijing Fangheng ✨.

The event was co‑organised by the Beijing Overseas Talent Center and the Chaoyang District Talent Work Bureau, with joint support from the Central Automobile Enterprises Digital Transformation Cooperation Network, the Sino‑German Innovation Center for Intelligent Manufacturing, FESCO and AlphaHelden International GmbH.

The forum brought together 83 industry‑academia‑research representatives from China and Germany. Centred on high‑end industrial machinery, new energy and the intelligent connected vehicle sector, it explored pathways for international cooperation and innovative development 🤝🌍.

Programme Highlights


🔹 4 Keynote Presentations: Prof. h.c. Dr.-Ing. Ömer Sahin Ganiyusufoglu, Pan Xuelong, Wen Yang and Dr. Michael Kroll delivered in‑depth analyses of industry trends and policy developments.
🔹 3 Project Roadshows: Prof. h.c. Dr.-Ing. Ömer Sahin Ganiyusufoglu, Mei Han and Zhongyi Jiang showcased cutting‑edge Sino‑German technologies and cooperation projects.

🔹 1 High‑Level Dialogue: Moderated by Xiaobo Shi, Managing Director of AlphaHelden International GmbH. Six senior experts from both sides — Prof. h.c. Dr.-Ing. Ömer Sahin Ganiyusufoglu, Prof. Yan Jiang, Reiner Haberstock, Dr. Liu Chunshi, Dr. Michael Kroll and Dr. Wu Jinjun — discussed international innovation ecosystems and the establishment of a competence centre for digital and intelligent manufacturing in Beijing 🧠⚙️.

Key Outcome


✅ China and Germany reached an important consensus on jointly building the International Advanced Engineering Center in Beijing. This centre will act as a global platform for pooling international innovation resources and further connect Beijing’s innovation capacity with the rest of the world 🌐🚀.
